I'm pretty good at producing higher pitch notes with those, but I'm going for a deeper more intimidating sound for signalling a charge into battle. But i can't get the lowness I'm looking for without sounding like im just blowing a raspberry into the horn, not very intimidating at all. Is it a problem that can be fixed by adjusting my blowing? Or is it the make of the horn that is the issue?
What size is it? I've got some horns lined up for making one or two, one set is in the 51-53cm ranges (20+ inches) and the other set is in the 25-27 (10-11 inch) range. I've heard about 40cm (16 inches) is good?
@TheDarkestHearts I'm pretty sure its the horn, the wide the opening the deeper the sound

How dose it work? You put it against the lips and make vibrations?
Or put it in the mouth and blow?
I am going to try and make one:)

welllll , normally you have to make the sound with the vibration of your lips , but that requires a bigger horn and it will sound much deeper :)
