its a huge building thats for sure its going to spit out dreamliners that are fuel effeciant and gracefull i call these "plastic planes" the doors i thought would have the 787 on them but instead its just dreamliner blue and white :(
The very first 787 ever certified as a test aircraft landed in Charleston Today inbound from europe and is sitting in that hangar until Wednesday 29th 2011. To date, they have been building sections of the fusilage only, but hopefully in the near future, they intend to roll out complete 787's ready for delivery here in Charleston :-) Exciting times for anyone who works for Boeing or Charleston County Aviation Authority for sure!
@Kaminsky15 charleston and SC are becoming a major player in the aviation industry and others as well with bmw honda and now boeing id never dream that charleston of all places could build aircraft then again its called the dreamliner lol
what i cant wait for is when the first one is born out of them big doors parts go in one end and a plane pops out the other :)
@mmonicque ive seen the tests and the wings are stronger than the 777 so i do have trust in boeing there not falling out of the sky during the extreme tests so they must be built strong enough
