  • was`nt one of the original members of yes in this band?

  • Tony Kaye, the organ player here eventually became a member of Yes. Also, the founder of this band, Jimmy Winston, was the original keyboardist of The Small Faces (only for the first album), and he went on to theatre, appearing in 'Hair' in London.

  • were there 2 keyboard players?

  • As far as I know, there's only one playing. Jimmy Winston switched to guitar with this band.

  • Whoo! This came up on my iPod today and I still love it.

  • @maida1982a: SV is correct; Winston (who sang lead on this cut) was primarily a guitarist but played keys in the original SF lineup because Steve Marriott was the guitarist. When he founded the Fumbs, he hired on TK as organist (still my favorite Yes keyboardist, ahead of showboat Wakeman, though I also like Pat Moraz) and he (Winston) went back to guitar. The SF of course did fine; they hired the capable Ian McLagan to handle the keys after Winston split.

  • Drummer was Ray Stock, second on left in photo. He previously played with a band called the Shevelles.

  • friggin love this track I dj at the mod clubs around L.A. and every time I play this 45 the crowd goes bananas

  • i bought this 45 for a mere 25 dollars in the early 80's, those were the days!
