will be getting there Saturday later afternoon, planning on going on Sunday as well. This will be the first time attending, not sure what to expect or what to bring. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

Yes, that is correct! Fredrik Bjerkegen of Lillehammer, Norway (YEA!) broke the record with a new jump of 130m!
So then why does the Snowflake Ski Club website say that it was Andre Fedheim of Trandol, Norway who broke the record? Typo, I presume, that should be corrected.
If you check the results for Sunday, February 10th 2008, indeed you will see that it was Fredrik Bjerkegen who accomplished that feat!

well, it not a part of tradition. maybe after the jump. we put it there to jump, not watch 2 strokes.

Why no snocross? That is a bigger draw than the jump.
