that is not true, im not even jewish and I am well aware of the jewish dietary laws, as I work in food service. you can eat meat just not pork or anything with a cloven foot. Beef is permitted as well as certain fish and poultry. I am actually a wiccan that likes to learn about other religions. This is no different than any other slaughter house, kosher or not that practices factory farming.

Jeez, When I eat a kosher meat dinner like lamb, I never knew that the meat on my plate was caused by this, I grew up eating kosher foods because im Jewish, but all my life, I never knew that the food I receive is by this, is this really the way G-d expects us to eat.

@stockinettestitch Update: I did go vegan that very day. My vision is no longer blurry, my heart doesn't come pounding out of my chest, I can breathe through my nose for the first time in two decades, I'm down one pant size (only twelve days) and the arthritis in my fingers is just plain gone. I'm so relieved I did this.

My conscience is c-l-e-a-r. Now let's get ShalomTV to do a show about this.
