YouTube deleting accounts in December? I don't think so.

OK the world won't end in 2012 so i don't think they should close down the accounts. I don't even know if they are because I haven't been notified by the YouTube owners yet so I have no idea.

Apparently this deleting thing is going to happen again. This time a claim is made that we have to link our accounts to gmail by December 12, 2011. I have yet to see anything that confirms or denies this. Heck I haven't even received anything from YouTube mentioning this.
