Peter Duff was a pseudo name used by the distributor. DJ Duke is the real producer who edited and mixed the break beat mix in 1986/87. The janet Jackson mix is an unknown editor. Trouble Funk was added at the time because the record was widely considered a rare record and highly sought after at the time.

Well, Latin Racals didn't do it, because I did it... and yes it was done in Stickholm at Swemix studios while I was there DJing... Actually I think I did it in 86, but it took me a year to release it.. and it was by accident because I was working at Downstairs records and met the guy who did all the bootlegs, George, who was real character and ended up in jail. Anyway, we just went to Brooklyn to some guy's house and added the ending of Fab Five Freddy...

Someone put this on Youtube at last! Most played vinyl of the 80s in my house. Still have the vinyl, but nothing to play it on hehe. Thanks dude, and mucho respect to the Duke - did he ever know how big and yet rare this was in the UK? I even started to like Janet Jackson on the strength of it being the B side to this.

@LUKUS909 The funny thing is I did try to keep it in the old school fashion, like the Double Dee & Steinski as best as I would with the limited equipment I had, which was either a 4 or 8 track reel to reel. The Fab Five Freddy Change the beat was tough to get at the time and we all used it to death so why not add it at the end.... Glad you had fun with it over the years...

Some other dude provided the Janet Jackson mix, but the Trouble Funk track was my idea....  The truth is I made maybe $500 on this track and George made probably $20K... fucker!

The Latin rascals angle is new to me however i grew up with DJ Duke back then and he made the mix during a stay in Stockholm before he moved permanently to New York to work at Downstairs records.

@Finnsnor You are talking Swedish meatballs ,there are 2 schools of thought,1,which i agree with is that it is DJ Duke,others claims it is the legendary Latin Rascals,neither of which close to being Swedish,p.s I am a Brit and am not trying to flag wave for the Yanks
