This video shows five of the most common birds found at a Sutton Massachusetts bird feeder, each showing its own unique characteristics. The titmouse is patient, the chickadee playful, the nuthatch acrobatic, the goldfinch steadfast and the cardinal red and flashy. For more local animal photos and videos visit SuttonMass.org. Sutton is located in south central Massachusetts. Massachusetts is located in the northeastern corner of the United States.
@iswc27 We msot definitely have TONS of titmice around, they are one of the most common birds at our feeder! Do you put out sunflower seed every day? The most common birds you will probably see are chickadees and titmice. Cardinals tend to show up fairly rarely, in pairs. Nuthatches don't tend to come to seed feeders - but you should always have one or two suet feeders up. Nuthatches and woodpeckers will visit those! We have 3-4 nuthatches that hang around on the suet feeders.

Greetings from the North Shore! I didn't know we had titmice and nuthatches here in Massachusetts. I think I have seen goldfinches here on very rare occasions. Of course, we all cherish the chickadee, our beloved state bird, and the cardinals will brighten up any scene, both with their presence and their voices!
All together, they make a delightful ensemble. The Bay State is truly blessed! Thank you so much for sharing!
