A FOOL AND HIS MONEY ARE SOON PARTED. UNLESS YOU HAVE ALOT OF MONEY, DONT BUY A MINI. IVE HAD ONE, AND ITS A TIN CAN THAT YOU THROW MONEY INTO. BMW PUTS ALL THEIR BUDGET INTO MARKETING, AND EVERYTHING VISUAL. QUALITY ISNT NEEDED, CAUSE THE AFOREMENTIONED. THEY BREAK DOWN EASILY AND OBSCURE PARTS THAT OTHER CARS DON'T EVER BREAK! thought i had a real fun car till i bought my mx5. it outhandles my mini s, and is faster! it straightens out the curves. mini throws you into the door g forces bad! mini was breaking down always tired of being stranded, and the repair costs are ludicrous! $ 180 perhr! Brakes $1200, 2 repl. auto trans $8000! Ive had 45 cars most of em muscle & sports. NEVER LOST A HARMONIC BALANCER..DID ON MINI! REPL. BELT? $210. BROKE DOWN 23 TIMES! TOWDRIVER KNOWS ME BY NAME! I had a mini cooper s convt. put 87000 miles on it. Had it towed several times, not reliable. had instrument cluster repl. harmonic balancer, tires every 8 mos. trashes you my mx5 handles much better auto trans cost 9000 to repl. overated junk! I have a folder 2" thick of repairs! its all in the looks but after 30,000 mi. look out! BMW repair shop @ 180.00/ hr. brakes $1200 pretty car , but big trouble. turbos break alot Ive had some stay away from those turbos. unreliable! Sorry I bought Mini!

All day every day. I see how idiots try to compare a pathetic Focus to a MINI. Not close. I'm on my second MINI. But this time I bought the 2011 Cooper S. And I never looked back on a 2011 Mustang V6 EVER again. I'm very happy about my choice. I'm so happy cause whenever I'm at a light, every stares or asks about it or tells me how sick or cool it looks with White Silver Metallic and black tints. Peace!

@laertrapo Nice job stereotyping, asshole. Maybe try facing the facts and give a positive about the Mini. Or instead of reading reviews, go drive one and then go drive a Focus. See which one you pick. Mini's are to cars what bell-bottoms are to fashion. A pointless fad.

I guaranty you the Mini community does not want members like you so please don't buy a Mini. I suggest you buy yourself a nice and roomy ford F150 instead and go plow the countryside.
