Scientologists aren't bad people, it's the one's who actually DO know better but still supress their followers that are fucking assholes.

They pick out people who know little to nothing about the cult, who don't even know it's a cult and still believe it's a religion.

This happens on occasion, mostly in the influential cities (LA, London, Clearwater, etc.) It's fairly uncommon though. As long as you keep your cool and use common sense, you should be fine. Many of the individuals who've had their identities compromised somehow drew attention to themselves (intended or otherwise).
