    Thank you very much.

  • where are the oars, when they were not in use...? while fighting etc. in other ships they were holding up (standig up to the sky) or the were pulling into ship. but it seems, there is no space for that.

  • The oars are still in place even during the fighting. They are too long and too heavy to be installed vertically. The only time they are placed into the ship is when the galley are anchored in a close harbor, they are placed across the galley.

  • absolut top. I made a galley-model (Roman era) a few years ago, but it's very amateurish compared to this.

  • Thank you very much.

    c'est magnifique !

  • Le modélisme virtuel est devenu un art à part entière... Sompteux ! ...

  • Wow. That looks so real, I thought it was an actual wooden model.

    Nice job.

  • The original film was made in 1024 with 3dsmax scanline. it consist of about ten sequences. The total render required 30 hours on 10 quadcore, so in fact 300 hours.
