Yes the track is MTH Scaletrax and I weather it with Polyscale Imperial Japan Army Brown for the rust color.

Yes you can buy the basic structure. It is a Korber grain elevator that Just Trains makes. When I kit bashed this kit, Korber didn't offer these as a building flat. After they saw mine they started making them available this way. The stairs and shed are scratchbuilt.

Hey. Are you happy with this engine? I have an opportunity to pick one up, but it's the most expensive engine I will have ever purchased. Good point, bad points? Was that a squeak I heard in the video? thanks. Mike

Hi Mike,
I do like this engine. The only thing that Lionel did wrong was to put that snap action switch buried down in the engine, so it is a PITA to change if it goes bad. The smoke is a little anemic compared to a MTH but I do love the sound! Yes you did hear a squeak. When I shot the video I hadn't had a chance to lube the wheel. It doesn't squeak anymore. If you can get it at a good price go for it.

It's on it's way. NIB delivered for $650. I must be nuts. I'm selling my 18045 Vandy and 2 williams passenger sets to offset the cost. I'm really looking forward to it.
