John from http://www.discountjuicers.com demonstrates the best way to make raw brazil nut butter. He uses the 10 cup Omega FoodPro Food Processor to make a creamy Brazil Nut Butter. He then takes the nut butter to the next level and adds a special ingredient to make an "off the hook" raw food desert.
could you soak the brazil nuts to give them the live food identity.

You could soak them and then process them... that being said, it would no longer be a true "nut butter" because it will be more watery. If you add soak the nuts first and then process, you must use the mixture within a few days or it may mold. You can soak and then dehydrate the brazil nuts, if you are really concerned with "aliveness". That being said, nut butters should be something eaten occasionally, and not a "staple" in a raw diet. Fruits and Vegetables should be the mainstay.
