I watched this on the Band of Brothers documentary, "We Stand Along Together." What a brave and knowledgable man Winters was. He will be forever remembered/

I have so, so SO much respect for him, everything he stood for, everything he did.
He was so humble, honest, full of courage and honor.

@yogifalkmybitch of course the film is fiction, but I have posted only the true sentence of the man. I'm sorry I have not reading the book yet, and the web just tell some facts.

@yogifalkmybitch they actually said in the book that they were glad to be airborne because the infantry of the line had it much worse, they were the true heroes they said. Please don't make false assumptions about men who are greater than us all

This man should deserve everybody's respect! This man was one of the reasons we won the war, a great, brave leader! :) This is how every soldier should act! and also the bravery of all soldiers of Easy Company! :)
