From 'Fair Warning' I think Eddie Van Halen's best work was on this album. I love when he combines 3 guitar tracks, sounds really cool. Line 6 Pod XT flanger

  • EXCELLENT!!!!

My favorite tune by Van Halen

you are an inspiration for sure!!!!

  • @rsb409 Thanks man!

  • Wow, awesome job! One of my favorite VH tunes. You really spent a lot of time and effort learning all the details. Also, love the transitions between guitar tracks. I know it's hard sometimes to choose whether to play the lead or rhythm track, but your performance flowed very well. If I were in a club watching this, I'd have my lighter held high, and I'd be screamin'! Thanks for posting! BTW, love the Kramer!

  • @tgorycki Thanks buddy

  • you have a great feel for this song....perhaps the best I've seen

  • @vongibson1968 Thanks bro

  • @Picachone I talked to a friend of his in Cali and actually he's been clean and sober since some time in 2007. He practices about 6 hours a day with the band. The new album should be sweet! Been waiting a long time man...

  • @Glennyladd497 Actually I'm surprised how many guys your age do like old VH. I was 15 when this song came out. We used to have to watch headbangers ball on MTV after midnight Saturday and just wait for it. Thank GOD for YT.

  • what no wha wha Ed uses it now ?

    Awesome dude !!!!!!!

  • Nice work...you'll get some leg tonight for sure!

  • We've been duped, this is actually Eddie VH, just kidding, really awesome!

  • Great job!

  • I don't know if it's mentioned as I haven't read through the comments, but the proper way to play this is to drop the low E (6th string) to a D. The rest of Ed's tunings are usually a half step (or so) down.. except for Eruption. Eruption was probably done with Ed's typical half-step drop, but most folks believe it was sped up a bit in the studio. Anyone who has ever spent any time recording can hear the difference. It's a good trick and it takes nothing from the artist. "Effects" are cool...lol

  • Thats the most souless version, everything s programed and pissed off.How do you do that to mean streat. How do you make it worse. Why would Ed need A Body double, with a wedding band.

  • Hey man, thanks for posting this.. I'm doing an acoustic cover of this song and this has helped tremendously! And you jam on that guitar dude, awesome technique.

  • Hell yeah ,.. My DAY !~n ,..J
