@JimBrownski. Brother I know Phil personally. I'm from "Capitol Heights Maryland" I do support my own but, I would like to support authentic HIP-HOP, not rap. Rap is to generic nowadays and, that's what everyone wants 2 B in my home town. A bunch of talentless rappers. No one wants to be an MCEE. Trust me brother, I have givin' MANY guy's in the DMV a chance but there's only a select few who are MCEES. As a result I have grown quite weary of buyin' cd's from cats on the street. Holla back.

@BoyBlaze2002 You need to stop sleeping, especially if you are DC native. support your own! It's plenty of solid acts in this city. Yeah there are some that bite Gucci, but it's too many biting Nas too. This album right here is some authentic DC - Not too Northern or Southern. Give the brother on the corner a shot next time. If you like them Check Phil Ade or Nike Nando or each of the DD members solo work - all solid examples of what DC has to offer
