  • Question will this PSU work on a Asus P5ND motherboard that only uses a cpu 4 pin power plug? thx researching on PSU's for my 570 sli upgrade I'm doing this summer.

  • @Hekynn You can just break the 8 pin connector into 2, because it comes as 4 + 4pin, so just use one of them.

  • i jus bought my corsair hx750 psu for my new build i tried to connect the psu to my LED fans to test the fans without any other peripheral connected but i couldn't get the LED fan to work...do i need to have a motherboard connected in order to get the fans to work ???

  • @ixy1987 Yes, in order to any psu (as far as im aware) without a motherboard, you'll need to bridge 2 pins on the 24pin power connector, it takes a bit of time, imo not worth it for your purposes, when u can just plug it into a computer.

  • @ixy1987 alright, well there is a way. search up 'how to power up power supply without a motherboard' the first link has a tutorial

  • whats the diference between this and the TX750

  • @gamenow44 the hx750 has a high efficieny rating, it is also semi modularm, has a longer warranty and uses the flex force cables.

  • Very cool video, thx man! Going to buy this one as well, at first I was looking for one with a blue led-fan, but this psu just kicks ass I guess. L.O.V.E. the flat black cables, extremely well reviewed, simply amazing.

  • @josuediaz91 man did you have a problem with a noise like bzzzzz in your PSU?

sry for the 9 months later topic.

  • I stuffed up the box of my HX750, couldn't figure out the box.

  • one of the best power supplies i have, recomended 100%

  • I was looking forward to get this PSU as a possible upgrade. Thanks for the great unboxing video.

    PS:

You are the last of a dying breed, people who do unboxing/review videos who hold the camera with their shaking hands need to die.

  • lol

like watching a monkey trying to open a water bottle

  • @ixy1987 Hey man, use a paper clip, un-bend it to a U-shape, bridge the connections on the 24-pin motherboard connector, connecting the green wire, with any black wire in the 24-pin connector. This is to by-pass the signal which tells the PSU that the motherboard is connected already. Remember, green and black. I hope you understand :D

  • @21DD23 actually the situation is that i bought my HAF X case and i jus bought my corsair psu....i figured "why not test out my led fas in the case before i buy anything else???"....when i tried to run the fans i got no reaction/power...i jus wanted to know that i habven't bought a faulty psu !?
