  • Hi Colin,

    I found this really useful.

Thanks alot for your help. I've been stuck playing a boring drone and you've helped me get a better grasp on playing rhythms.

    Nice work

    Chris (AUS)

  • Hey thanks Chris, keep it up buddy!

    Colin

  • I so pleased that so many people have found these movies useful and a big thank you for all your generous feedback!

    Best wishes,

    Colin

  • I'm new to the didgeridoo, and really liked this vides (from Scotland).

  • Thanks Collington22, best wishes to the Scots!

    Colin

  • Exellent Video, as are your others...

I'm having a little trouble; When I try the ''oom-ah-didi'' I seem to breathe in too much, so I either have to stop playing or breathe out through my nose aswell as breathing in.

    Is this common?

    Thanks, Rich.

  • Thanks Rich,

You can try taking a shorter sniff but remember to keep the 'cheek drone' the same length. A little tip for being too puffed up with air is to allow some to escape whilst playing through the corner of the mouth or you can find that using your diaghram and voice more will use up more excess air!

    Best, Colin

  • @iDIDJUK This is so useful. Thank you so much!

  • Mine was $41 in the US if that helps. But there were some going for $300.

  • Your videos certainly help a great deal. Thanks! I have been playing the didge, on and off, for about 15 years and I finally invested in a good Eucalyptus didge made in Western Australia...I now find the circular breathing easier to achieve. I couldn't quite get it going with one of those cheaper plastic or bamboo didgeridoos that I always played in the past. The strong backpressure makes a world of difference.

  • thank you for sharing your knowledge. Really helped me out.

  • Hahaha you are so funny (unintentional or not it's great!) and helpful. Cheers mate, will look up your site

  • hi i have a question about circular breating..when i use my thoung to close the mouth to inspire..i cant inspire any sudgestion?

  • Great inspiration Colin. Ive been didjin for 6 years and i keep comin back to your vids for tweeking and ideas! Thanks for settin the bar!

  • soooo awesome!
