very interesting, the 540GTX goes quite well on these tests, but it's clear how much Intel have improved! I still remember my old i810... and the GMA 3100...
to bad you can't find these S3 Chromes for sale.

Cool video ! S3 video card. You probably know this, if not; Intel made the AGP slot, not really impressive till 8x 4x AGP, but it was too late, PCI Express slot and now PCI Express X 16 slot version 2.0, 2.1, any how Intel also made a AGP/PCI card the i740 (1998 ), they sold for $34.50 and like their integrated graphics the add on cards weren't that great either. S3 still around, long time, remember the S3 Virge ( 1995 ) called the first decelerator, so I'm told, not great graphics.
