Although STS-135 is the final space shuttle mission, the International Space Station will continue an uninterrupted human presence in space. This music video featuring the space station and its crews is set to the song "World" by recording artists Five for Fighting.

@lionsblood321 why? whats the reason? is it because he stopped the STS missions. well it was too costly and inefficient way to get there. now they use rockets like soyuz, so that they spend the money wisely on other research activities. Shuttle was beautiful but it had to end.

Feeding starving humans gives us a purpose.

@MoldytoasterMedia Travel into space is not only our future, but a solution to many of the problems we currently face. There are huge reserves of resources in our solar system alone, including energy reserves from solar collection, which are only available with space travel. And humans are explorers, it's what we're meant to be - to always be looking over the next horizon. It gives us focus and purpose.

@MoldytoasterMedia They do a lot more than just float in space. What they do is trying to understand our home and our place in the universe.Starving people in the world will take a world effort. Stopping the space program will not cure it,changing mans heart and mind might.The starvation of people is not all money issue it's a caring issue.
