Choreo Cookies performing at Body Rock 2011 on June 11th, 2011 at the California Performing Arts Center in Escondido, CA. Congratulations Choreo Cookies placing 2nd. You all were amazing. I'm bummed that you aren't performing @ Funkanometry SF's Sockhop this year though. Sorry for the bad quality of a video, I recorded it on an iphone 3GS, haha.

Choreo Cookies members are obviously full of talent and passion for dance, but what's wrong with trying to compete with other groups? These shows like body rock, vibe, etc are COMPETITIONS after all, it's not a bad thing to want to dance to win or to see who's better and I'm sure there are plenty of dancers in these groups and in Choreo Cookies love to dance to win.

@ninj4son never really thought about that but makes sense.. its sad to see people posting demeaning comments on youtube but thats how some people are. Maybe they're a dancer, maybe not but what they don't understand is that dancing isn't about placing or being the best. I guess some people take the competitiveness too seriously.

Normally I would not comment on a comment but to 2011nutterbutter, what a mean thing to say. I guarantee Choreo Cookies does not put a set together for the purpose of placing in a competition. They do what they love and this set had a message and meaning to them. They were honored to show it at Body Rock and they were honored to share the stage with so many amazing groups. Your comment shows so little respect for the people putting on the show not to mention the judges.

The thing that separates Choreo Cookies and Sh*t Kingz from some other dance teams is that they don't try to "compete" against everyone else.These young men and women share a passion for dance and a general consensus that the only people they need to out do is themselves.
