My point just stick with your passion and don't get side track. You'll become as amazing as he is with he's.

The brain really is an amazing thing and we do have limit less potential. With what we can do with our minds. However Life is not infinite and one would require an eternity to unlock and master every aspect of there mind.

People like this are an illustration of how unfathomably complex the human brain is. This is just fascinating, amazing, mind-boggling... beyond our understanding.

He could stand over a pile of laundry and draw every wrinkle, every fold.
It doesn't matter what he sees, everything is in great detail. I wish I could tap my brain into this level of absorbing detail. I can't even remember why I entered a room sometimes.

The thing is, research has shown that our brains DO see all these details, but we focus on the absolute necessities. Savants have the ability to tap into this, but usually at the expense of something else.

That being said, in a modern society, many can still live a rich live thanks to modern things that make their lives easier.

Oh, and: This guy f-ing rocks.
