i might not necessarily have to go into pre-recording. i did a bit of Google-ing and found some GamesGenie codes that give me much more time to complete a run. i've tested it and it all seems to work well. it also means i won't have to spend hours trying to beat one level!

Slalom is fun but frustrating with little room for error, good but hard.

Cocoto was just terrible in every way, bad and fucking irritating.

I'm sorry that you've had a breakdown. Things will be okay just don't worry about it. I haven't found anything you've said to be extremely rasist and it's a hard game and your frustrating.
