The Carnival Fun ships have always been decorated and designed with the "fun ship" banner in mind. In this review of the Carnival Glory, I will surely try to emphasize the fun, because there is lots of fun to be had on this ship. Even the staff know that everyone is there to have fun, which we noticed in the dining room where the waiters danced and performed every night near the end of dinner.
The Carnival Glory is a member of the Conquest group of ships, the same class as ships such as the Carnival Freedom and of course the Carnival Conquest. It is considered to be a large ship with a gross tonnage of 110,000 and a capacity of nearly 3000 passengers, but on a ship that size, you will never feel crowded and you will seldom have to wait in line. The staterooms are spacious and the balconies are plentiful, a large percentage of the rooms are outside with marvelous views, and a large percentage of those have private balconies.
The theme of the ship is "Decades through the Centuries" and as such, each room has a theme from a different time in history, such as the Victorian style Theatre and the Millenium atrium.

The buffet restaurant was more than satisfactory but the main dining rooms were much more gourmet and the food was delicious. We asked for double servings of some of the main courses and the waiters were happy to accommodate us. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable and made our dining experience one of the highlights of the cruise.
The theatre featured some wonderful live shows and the fun activities on the Lido deck were almost non-stop.
When I cruise, I really enjoy everything it has to offer. From the first-class Broadway style shows to the five-star gourmet cuisine.
