Eagle Airways B1900 Wheels Up Landing @ NZWB

Footage of the successful Beech 1900D wheels up landing at Woodbourne, New Zealand. Faulty landing gear actuators were to blame which resulted in the entire fleet of 17 aircraft being removed from service for inspection.

@jgdogg441 Im pretty sure those props are made from composite materials an designed to disintegrate in a way that does not endanger the fuselage in these situations.

@jgdogg441 Those props are designed to splinter so pieces will not be thrown in a prop strike situation such as this and leaving the engines running can be seen as a judgement call. Having the engines allows more control on the landing.
