Terminator for Windows

This is Terminator for Windows with the help of Cygwin and Ruby. Which ruby is in the installation of cygwin. I mess up a lot in this video. There is a lot of fun you and do with this shell. Giving you the Windows command along with the tools that Unix and Linux uses. Giving you power for those that have the brain cell to know how to operate this.

Also I show how to install Ruby on Rails. A very nice program for the programers of today.

Now if you are a fresh new person to ruby on rails. GO here to learn the basics. It doesn't teach you ruby on rails but it sure is a start. And when you are done the website will tell you where to go to develop more of your brain cells.

@EpicMan83 Terminal? That is what ubuntu have... This isn't that one, this one is the Terminator... "I'll be back" hahahaha :)... Google it if you think im wrong, or what ever search engine you use... You can also go to my website which should be in the video description... Just click on "Show more" with the 2 arrows pointing down... But, why did you think this is the Terminal?...

@EpicMan83 I know what CMD is, but this isn't CMD. This is the Terminator for Windows... If you look at the entire video you'd see the differance from CMD and the Terminator...

I have found console2 and Minty work well with cygwin instead of Terminator

oh I have just tried out Ipython. a console for python. it seems more powerful than using bash see //magazine.redhat.com/2008/02/­07/python-for-bash-scripters-a­-well-kept-secret/ he gets on to ipython half way down the page

@poojkhgf BT is for BackTrack Linux... And I have done videos of it they are in my channel... I'm trying to work out some bugs before I let out the video. Which have proven to be troublesome in GNOME version of BT... Nothing major, just simple GUI settings and neat things like that... Other then that there are a lot of youtube videos that people make that can show you how to use different tools that, that distro has...

@curemymind hey I was just kidding with you, I assumed you were busy learning about other stuff. Bye the way what is BT ? could you do a little video on it? In the uk BT stands for British Telecom, and nobody would admit to working in it.

@poojkhgf it is usefull but its only usefull for those that need the extra options... It's like eating hamburgers every day, ull get sick of them... I don't spend my time just using one thing, and I haven't done much SSH or writing a shell file... I also know how to google, but thanks for the suggestion.. Right now I'm working in BT, which is awesome... I like using more then one OS... the only reason I use the terminator is b/c of the copy feature and the transparancy but its not really needed.
