I trust Randy. He composed music for "Cat's Don't Dance" and I love the songs in that movie. Don't judge him from Pixar. Pixar movies aren't the romance/musical type.

@AliaSparrow You're kidding right? Have you heard his music that's not from films? 'Short People'? 'It's Money That I Love'? 'Mama Told Me Not To Come'? 'My Life Is Good'? They tackle racism, greed, loneliness, just about everything. Randy is probably one of the best lyrics writers in America today. Don't comment about something you know nothing about.

@SparrowFreak yes he did. randy newman has composed songs for many movies, like james and the giant peach, toy story, (and many other pixar movies) and a few disney classics, like princess and the frog.
