Wednesday Week video of their song "Why" from their 1987 debut album, "What We Had." I interned at the label they were on, Enigma Records, and this was on one of the label's promo videos -- thus the silly intro by Mojo Nixon, another act on the label. (I left the intro on because Nixon talks over the first drum beat of the song.)

I love them. Slumber party massacre II came out when i was seven but didn't get into until i was like 12 and i even put my boom box up to the tv to record the song on a cassette tape for this one and If only. I was looking through IMDB reading trivia about movies and i saw that Wednesday week so i looked them up on billboard and finally on here. Thanks for posting. Do you have if only?

Well she officially left the band before this video was put out I'm sure she knew.
Some time before the vid was made they actually (with Heidi) performed (Why and Missionary) on "The Late Show" with Arsenio Hall as guest host. The funny thing was Heidi sang "Missionary". But when the performed "Why" Kristi did the main vocals and Heide performed the CHORUS.
Then not too long after the "Late Show" appearance she left the band.

This was played in the scene after Courtney saw the hand in the sandwich gag LOL still a good movie and song and it's a shame that they didn't have Heidi in the video or at least rerecorded the song so it would have been Kristi really singing it I wonder if Heidi was aware of this?

The 80s would have been a better place if they would have made it huge. GREAT music...plus, Kristi is just adorable.
