It is typical for pet stores to tell customers that their puppies come from licensed breeders. What they dont say is that many USDA-licensed dog breeders maintain kennels like the one shown in this video, shot in February 2009. Best Friends has compiled this and other video footage to show the public what it really means to be a licensed breeder. To learn more about how puppies from kennels like this often end up for sale in retail pet stores, visit our website: http://puppiesarentproducts.com/

  • This is to Ihavenolife1155, I have visited your videos and your work is wonderful, I was talking about the remarks the lady in this kennel made that she does not have to have her kennels inspected.I have somehow iin error clicked something that involves you and I did not mean to.I encourage everyone that reads here to go to your site and subscribe because your compassion for well built kennels is phenomenal and I hope that you sell you kennel plans to any and every one needed a kennel. BJ

  • I am talking about "real breeders" who allow the public to visit their kennels, they walk their dogs, socialize with them, allow them out to run and play, name them and interact with them The last clip on this video shows a large dog that cannot even turn around in his cage but just has to lie or stand there all day long.I think you should be stuck in a kennel for life, food shoved at you, one brand and you are breed every time you ovulate all your life and when you cannot breed any more, bye

  • @babsie1952 Who said i would mind being inspected... not that i have a boarding kennel.. so i have no idea where your getting your information.

  • Respond to this video... Your IQ means nothing and your insults do not help the cause.

Educating the buyer is done by every rescue group and animal group that lives.

Educating puppy mill operators is the key, USDA needs to crack down on them and through the hard work of animal activists, legislature is being made especially in the Midwest where these people are making livelihoods off of these animals and do not care a flip for them. You need to educate yourself on the subject more.

  • @IHAVENOLIFE1155 So if you have nothing wrong with your home or boarding kennel why should you mind being inspected. That is what animals deserve.

  • THIS STUFF NEEDS TO END!

  • How horrible :[

  • I stand by my comment to support MANDATORY spay/neuter in all 50 states: extreme circumstances require extreme measures. Now, while I don't wish to offend you, Huronangel, I feel it necessary to offer some useful advice. If you wish to be taken seriously, as a "professional", no matter what cause you are advocating for, or against...please learn to spell. At the very least, do a "spell check". "Rong" for wrong, "are" for our, "waisting" for wasting...for God's sake.

  • Shame on Chi Chi Puppies in Las Vegas for getting their dogs from here.

Doesn't look very "high end" to me!

  • SHUT PIN OAK DOWN
