I updated but there is no updatation shown in my iphone 3gs and after that there is error in itunes called 3194 error and no services dictated...please help me out ...

@TheErMaulik that's probably happening becuase ios 5.1 just got released today, you'll have to use redsnow to stitch the shsh blobs in to the ipsw file or you can try running tinyumbrella ts server to grab the shsh files.

second: can you tell me if the sim-lock is re-activated if you restore your iphone so the jailbreak is gone (like when i want to upgrade to new iOS-Firmwares or smth like that)

@BillieJoeSecret yes the sim unlock will get reactivated everytime you restore. remember that if you do this tutorial you can only update to custom firmwares. if you try to just use itunes without a custom ipsw file it wont work. but the good thing is that you'll always be able to unlock in the future.

Hi, is it possible to jailbreak my 3gs on 5.0.1 with modemfirmware 05.16.05? After the jailbreak will everything be as usual so I can call and stuff but with cydia added?

I just want my jailbreak to be safe so this is why I am asking questions :)

@StiFt I used baseband 06.15.00 and a unthedered jailbreak 4.1 before via sn0wbreeze and that worked perfectly to unlock with ultrasn0w...

I have a unthedered 5.0.1 jeilbreak that I did with redsn0w. The phone works but can´t find my mobile network. I have baseband 06.15.00 but can´t unlock with ultrasn0w.

Is there anything else that I can do to make it work?

my serial number is 86926. that will work right? do you know why when i try to reflash my baseband and when its reflashing it just gets stuck on "flashing baseband do not interupt"? is there a way to fix that?
