I discovered the Stikfas figures here on YouTube and have created this lip sync test to see if I could do it. The film I'm planning to make with the Stikfas figures has a fair amount of dialogue and I wanted to make sure that it would look convincing. I think it worked out all right. Sorry about the static figure but I was focussing on the lips and eyes.

  • what song anyone? please reply

    GR8 job

  • Song is called Sway.

  • Wow, that's fantastic - I'll be looking forward to seeing your movie whatever it is.

    Good luck

  • Thank you, it's great to get feed back, especially when it's so positive. The film I'm working on is called "The Girl Who Looked like Betty Page," about five minutes long, action-fight, of course, and is a combination of CG and stop-motion. Doing tests at the moment.

  • what program. 5 stars by the way.

  • Poser for eyes and mouth.Colored poser figure's skin green as well as background. Mimic Pro for the lipsyncing. Cut them all together in Adobe Premiere Pro and chroma-keyed the green out. The hard part will be when I'm animating dialogue. The head and body will be moving so I'll have to sync up the eyes and mouth to move in the same way. I've put registration markings on the stikfas figure's face to help me get it all together.
