When I told my builder friend I was planning on building a stand for my 220 gallon monster tank that would stand 4ft high, he told me not to even think about it.
He was building it.
Total time of 9 hours to bolt the legs through the exterior walls, with the 20mm threaded bar and to transfer the fish from the temp tank.
Little video of the set up, the fish and the new stand.

  • Nice build. I don't think it qualifies as monster though, that's usually for 500 gallons on up.

  • @SilverBowAquariums Aye perhaps, although try telling the wife it's not monstrous lol

  • @lupo10 lol, I had that problem and was firmly tossed into the garage. Later it became a store. Every once in a while I try to think of how to sneak a 1000 gallon tank into the house though :)
