This song was born to be sung only by Billie Holiday..... NO ONE CAN PUT SO MUCH EMOTION AND PASSION IN IT..... when she says PITY ME I NEED YOU.... you can feel nothing but the pain and desperation of that some one who is rejected by the one they love.

So beautifully sung by Billie. You can hear the pain in her voice while she's singing this. One of the few singers who can portray their every emotion in the songs that they sing.
