@HesAFemaleBear I've watched a few videos about this and no one seems to peel them so I guess you don't have to. I've only eaten pealed though, just like they originally did some 400 years ago. Mine also got very dry and so the sugar came off very easily, much of it just lay in a pile. I'm gonna try lowering the heat a bit and take them off the stove just a tiny bit earlier.
It really seems to be a matter of seconds at the end, sticky or dry unless you time it right.

They look sticky in the end. Are they always sticky or just when they are recently done? Because i want them to be crunchy and dry and not so moist as what it appeared to be.

They are only sticky when they comes off the pan, after that they are not stickey. :)
