We do thing s differently now. The Old Testament is a terrible guide for understanding medical conditions. It is also a terrible guide for understanding the universe (Earth, Sun, galaxies,etc.)....Galileo Galilei proved it, but was subjected to persecution from the Catholic church. The Earth is 4.6 billion years old.

what are you all talking about? dont take the bible so literally, it was meant to teach all generations. many figures of speech. leprosy = sin.
The prophet did not accept the Gold offerd, like a church does.

@tml4873 Just because you "may" know the physical cure for something doesn't mean they could not have been healed by something that God knew more than them. Maybe the current mineral content of the river at that very time had what was necessary to cure the leprosy on his skin. Maybe it was supernatural. Ether way it is irrelevant but instead that he was healed by trusting that the prophet that was speaking on behalf of God was telling the truth. Lo and behold he was and Naaman was healed.

I don't understand how they could make this video. Didn't we know the cause and cure of leprosy by 1955? I'm pretty sure neither one of them is god.
