  • Pioneer puts a stupid internal proprietory fuse on the rca jacks inside the head unit. You need to have the unit serviced. The fuse blows when you have an extreme ground loop going on. We never replace the fuses, we just solder a small piece of 16 guage wire in its place. Grounding the RCA shields may work.. but in my experience, its never right until you restore ground within the head unit.

  • @douglasvb123456 i agree 100%

  • thanks for this video, I'm really impressed by your group. I will trouble shoot tonight as I also throw in some overhead monitors. Another question I would ask is if there are any digital tv tuners for vehicles on the market yet...?

  • @supermanotorious thank you... i appreciate that.

ive heard of a few digital tuners, i rarely use tv tuners, but i think "power acoustic" has some.

  • Ok i have a question for all of you I have a amp sub hook up and its sounds great when im just running it off the battery but as soon as i turn on my engine and it starts to hum with a whirling sound and when i give it a litte push on the throttle it sounds like a quiet motorcyle rev i cant figure it out ... What going on???

  • Friday ill make a video of my ranger which i am having trouble with finding a cheap amp and making my truck in to a off road and a bumping truck for as cheap as i can because me and my dad are restoring a 1 out of 7 ram air firebirds and 1-1 comvertables with and auto when were done i think ill visit yall from texas for yall to install a new system with the radio the wont change the dash check my videos for refrence

  • I have a mmats 1400.1 amp an when I turn it on it plays the subs fine then about a min. Later the watts goes into a low mode like if it's lost some power but it still plays but in a very low state, can you give me advice on what could be the problem

  • about time you make some videos hahaha.....do yall have a project truck at work?

  • ground problems

  • just use a high/low inverter and see what happen! this happens alot with Pioneer are just ground the rca jacks behind the radio! you gotta stick a ground in between the RCA jacks All Of them thats behind the radio thats hooked up! are just run sum brand new ones straight the seat just to see if the noise still there! are maybe its the amp! make sure it has it's own ground!
