no what he is saying is that the microwave is supposed to be designed so NO microwaves cam get through it so if the phone does ring their is a leakage. nothing to do with the frequency

This does not work, i tried it and the phone still rang.
The reason is because they both operate at different frequencies. Notice in the video he did not explain the frequencies further.

I tried it on my microwave, it doesn't work the phone still rang. If you look closely, he actually turns the phone to total silent mode so it won't ring or vibrate. Notice it doesn't go immediately to voice mail, because its actually ringing and just goes to voice mail because no one picked up, not because it's not getting a signal...

You are wrong. He didn't put it on silent and it did go straight to voicemail.
