Spring drive is still hybrid between quartz and mechanical as it relies on electronic regulation. El Primero is pure mechanical wonder.

As far as i know, the Spring Drive movement by Seiko is much more accurate.

Even the 36000bph movement found in Grand Seikos is more accurate than the Primero (not by a wide margin, but still).

But the "El Primero" is a myth, i must admit. You can't go wrong when buying Zenith!
