Definetly one of the best set-ups I've seen for just about anything.

@blackout12000 I just spray down the plants with water about once a week. I wipe down the glass once in a while and every few months I siphon out some of the water when it gets too full. It smells just like the forest. Frog poop becomes dirt for the plants pretty quickly.

Riccia moss at .22 and Java moss at .27. Not technically a moss. They are freshwater aquatic plants.

How do you feed your dart frogs?
I am deciding whether to get a pair of dart frogs or a red eyed tree frog some day, when I set up my planted vivarium. I really prefer dart frogs, but I read that they were difficult to feed. Is this true?

@lavendersfields123 Dart frogs (and probably all frogs) will only strike at moving food. My frogs eat wingless fruit flies which I raise at home. It is pretty easy to do but a little more difficult than feeding fish or a dog. These frogs have no problems eating. It is one of their favorite things to do.

Is it a good idea to house a fire belly toad with a dart frog in the same 10gallon tank?
TheBettaApprentice 1 year ago
@TheBettaApprentice No. Do not mix any species of dart frogs with another species of dart frogs or any other species, amphibians, reptiles, or otherwise. They will die eventually of stress.
