"Night Of The Pecker" Location Retrospective

A brief (Well, five minutes of me rambling and inducing motion sickness ^_^;) look back at a couple key locations on the main campus of Modesto Junior College (Modesto, CA) - the site of two filming scenes for a locally-produced horror/comedy film from 1992, "Night of the Pecker", a film about a six-foot tall killer chicken that went on a rampage, leaving untold numbers of mangled victims in its wake, pursued by a Cajun farmer, "The Chosen Cooker", a man chosen by fate (And a father who bears a resemblance to a well-known fast-food chicken restaurant spokesperson ^_-; ) to hunt down and kill this monster chicken...

I handled fake-blood wrangling duties (hence my nickname, "Blood Boy"), as well as providing a couple interior set locations (A family room and kitchen), and even getting about three seconds of on-screen time as another victim.

Good god. 20 years? I can't believe it's been that long. It would be interesting to see it again. Or disturbing, I'm not sure.
