MEXICO CITY — Mexico plans to administer the vaccine against human papillomavirus (HPV), which can cause cervical cancer, to all girls beginning next year, the country's health ministry said Tuesday.

Beginning in 2012, the HPV vaccine will be part of the normal course of shots given to all girls at the age of nine, Health Minister Jose Angel Cordova said.

Cervical cancer kills about 4,200 women in Mexico each year.

The minister said while deaths from cervical cancer had fallen 47 percent in the country over the past two decades, there was still 13.4 cases for every 100,000 women last year.

  • Department of Health in Georgia recommended my SON to take this CERVICAL cancer vaccine, even my SON does NOT have CERVIX!!!! They desperately want to reduce the population if they recommend all the BOYs to get CERVICAL cancer vaccine!!

  • @NipponReptilian I cannot begin to imagine how tough it would be to have a child growing-up in this horrifically secular and diseased world. The children of today are constantly bombarded with lies and deceit, and by those who have been entrusted to help raise them outside of your presence.

I would probably be in jail if i had a child in public school!

  • @123gwf now that u mentioned it i do remember having 15 plus shots!

  • @fred1671 I agree 100%. I am so glad I never had kids, for these very reasons.

  • Man, when I was a kid we needed like 6 vaccinations -- now what is it? 15? 20?

It's a wonder anyone from my generation is still alive, huh?

  • @fred1671

I agree, I think a good way to avoid taxes is to grow your own food and use barter, exchange some of it :P

If this keeps going, we will soon have to live in catacombs like the first century Christians.

  • @jb0433628 I hear you! What else is there... charter schools? I've seen enough documentaries that claim most of these "miracle" schools constantly test lower than their public equivalents. Then again, I'm not so certain it's ever been about the education. As I previously mentioned, I do not have any children - yet I pay enough school taxes to clothe the entire 5th grade at the local middle school.

We are in need of some serious tax reform... wait, that's a whole other topic. Sorry! : )

  • At least, in Mexico, they have weapons to defend themselves...provided by the ATF.

  • @fred1671

House school is the only alternative for people who don't want their kids to die/become drug dealers/worse.

  • @kj369kj Without Jones, most - if not all - relevant news would ever come to light! Put your head back in the sand and quietly go about your wonderful little existence, while it still last. Good day.

  • There are several strains of HPV, the strain that causes warts is not the same strain that causes the cervical dysplasia that leads to cervical cancer. That being said, they are both viral and can both be rid of by your body on its own. But when u develope the dysplasia a simple procedure can get rid of it and you will never get cervical cancer. Trust me i know, i had both forms at once and i am now cured. My body fought off the other strain, & w/the help of a procedure i fot off the other1 2!
