@EOCB Possibly influenced, but I don't think it's been stated outright.

However, Animated Wingblade Optimus Prime has been confirmed to be based on God Ginrai. Had the series continued, he apparently would have gotten a full combining trailer upgrade like God Ginrai/Powermaster Optimus Prime.

@AeonMagnus Right. New body intended for Optimus, but taken control by Ginrai. Hence he's known as Ginrai/Super Ginrai/God Ginrai rather than Convoy.
