Kevin and Sue McCarthy take you on a tour of one of a kind geological formation. You'll learn about the Native American history of the site and see magnificent views from the top of the world's largest granite formation.

  • Youve got to check out the laser light show

  • I went to Stone Mountain. I sat on the Mountain and just breathed in the Air. I felt fresh as I walked off. I love the memorials, and the new things. It's so beautiful!

  • @djhouse40 Haha i went there, and i went to the laser show.. so fantasic :)

  • this is my home and i am sooooo proud to be born and raised in Atlanta, Ga. if you guys have never been to Stone Mountain....you have to go there. Your life will never be complete until you go there to see this beautiful mountain. You should also make it a point during the summer to see the Laser Show. Simply Awesome

  • haha love it

  • I have been here.....I see its changed since the 1970's.. back then they had a ski lift, that I rode to the bottom...

  • Don't forget the lake nearby. You can fish from the shore or launch your own boat. You need a 10 hp outboard or smaller hp. They have lmbass crappie, hybrid bass, catfish and bluegill to catch. the cooler months of Sept., Oct. Feb, Mar, and April are the best bets for catching fish from the shore. A Zoom trick worm fished on a weightless carolina rig is the real deal.

  • wow. this was... informative. u have taught me how to.. LIVE MY LIFE TO THE FULLEST. i thank yu with the bottom of my toes :)

  • Spent many Summer and Fall days climbing Stone Mountain as a kid. One thing this video didn't mention is the very old carvings you can see when you walk up the side of the mountain. I can remember seeing some dated from the 1700's.
