As the only parrot of 350+ species to actually build a stick nest, Monk or Quaker Parakeets are delightful to watch going about keeping house, getting every twig just right, and often stealing choice sticks from their next door neighbors! I cant believe these birds are living as far north as New York? If they can survive the NY winters then why cant any parrot?
