We are a powerful country of good people, sometimes misled by those interests which seek that power.

Our power projects across the world. But lately more people know us by the hand that holds the gun, than the hand that reaches out.

She sounds hopeful that things will improve. Hopeful for America! Now *THAT*, my friends, is patriotism!

We tend to simplify our internal world by using labels and stereotypes. Think of this, though, Americans- do you want others to judge you personally by the words and actions of our government? The government certainly does not speak for me! It's just as unfair to judge Russians or Chinese or Iraqis or Iranians or Canadians by the words and actions of THEIR governments. And even more unfair to judge them by the actions of a handful of extremists. I enjoy hearing your views, Grafinia. Peace
