Hooping on a dock over Lake Tahoe in January of 2008. Once again, I'd envisioned myself doing an amazing routine in an awesome setting using all of my new tricks. Instead, I struggled with intense altitude sickness and fear of dropping the hoop (or myself) in the icy water. Of course, once I relaxed, it was fine.
Oops! now I see that was "ALTITUDE sickness" - well, I still thank you for the phrase I thought it was!

Lovely hooping! I'm always so delighted to see "SIMPLE" hooping made to look so beautiful. Also thank you for your description of the event - that phrase "attitude sickness" is a keeper (but only for when it's really needed, of course ;-)

Very beautiful. -- both your hooping and you What a great laugh you have. This video made me smile. Your armwork is lovely! And I'm glad you documented this early aspect of your hoop journey. Thank you for sharing. I look forward to seeing your progress and I'm very happy that you made thils film in this lovely location. It's peaceful. It's also nice to see winter in the middle of hot summer.
