Hello there nice job! I have a question though. I have a simillar bow made of an Africa originated wood called ''iroko''. The problem is that it doesn't have the flexibility required to become a functional bow. Do you know if it possible to gain flexibility after the boiling phase? Thank you.
hey i have a question. I was planing on steaming the wood to make a recurve to give it the curves. but i thought if u steam wood and bend it then when it cools down it stays in that shape and isnt too flexible so it'll brake. Is this true?
I just laid down a recurve bow, traced it, cut out two layers of 3/4" particle board and glued them together, then attached them to a larger piece of particle board.
