Roman gets ready to go home. Taylor takes him home and there he discovers that the goblets are no longer on the mantlepiece. Then he hears the message on the answerphone and can't believe that Marlena wouldn't even take five minutes out of her day to call the kids. Caroline tells him that he has to have faith that there is a really good reason that she hasn't called. Down in the pit Marlena hears some scraping noises and a dog appears. She realizes he can smell the turkey and she tells him to come and get it. He pulls a couple of the boards off but then lies down for a snooze. When he wakes up she throws out the turkey drumstick to him. He has just settled down to eat when an old homeless man shuffles in. She asks him to go for help but he just takes the dog and shuffles back out...
