The name of the song is Brandy. I am guessing that it's the name of wine, Brandywine, derived from Dutch, brandewijn (wiki), a Burmese word adopted from English, and used as a metaphor for women. Please correct me if I am wrong... (Update: I am officially wrong!!! Correction: It's not Brandy - it's Ba-ra-ni, Burmese Mona Lisa - Nilarnge)
I found this song from singforyou.net and thought it was a pretty cool song...I like the flow of the song but it gave me almost no time to take a full breath...It is a Burmese classic song, and I will add the translation later.. Now I am too lazy.. hehehe..
I am not sure who the original singer is but the song was composed by Ah Lin Gar Kyaw Saw Shwe Phyi Aye - supposedly one of the legendary musicians of his time. This song is perhaps outdated for my generation.. but still a great song.. and intended for this Mother's day entertainment :)

Burmese Courting
Love custom in Burma is very interesting. Boy girl courting is very unlike in the US. The early hours of night time are designated for courting.. and guys (ages around 20s) usually in group sit around the street, play guitar and sing their heart out to girls..In universities, guys would gather around the female dormitory and sing to girls. Giving love letter is also another love custom seen in Burma. But, guys give lover letter to girls usually during day time. I must also add that very few girls give love letters to guys. :)
