6,000 people died that day. With Hurricane Ike growing near some will turn to your production for historic reference. Had it been good humor I might have been amused. If nothing else this should be used as a good example of a popular mindset for American youth. May you outgrow it.

I believe you are taking this movie out of context. It is not a satire or meant to be humorous. This is only the work of 12 year old girls trying to get an A on their History Project. I hope you can grow out of crittizing young people. May i remind you you were once a "popular mindset of youth" yourself, probably criticized by your elders too

I don't buy it. If this is the level of teaching for 12 year olds in your community then it is simply a shame. Defending this just makes it even more disgusting. Is getting a 100 the only goal? What about having a little class. What a sad reply to my comment.

yes it's under comedey; there is a gig at the end of the movie out the oil. that part is ment to be funny. The movie could be two types of catagories. The Galvaston part is more of the Drama and the oil is the comedey.

Now, everyone who posted saying something about how this was offensive, yes, this was a tragic day in Galveston's history, we all understand that, but going on YouTube and insulting a 7th grader's history project isn't going to change a damn thing about what happened then. And once again, SimonSaysBMG.

...Why would anyone use this video for historic reference? It's YouTube! I know students who lose points for Wikipedia as a reference!
